Bestevaer 53 Best Day Ever

The designer of the Bestevaer 53ST yachts, Gerard Dykstra, founder of Dykstra Naval Architects, may well have largely retired from his architectural agency by now, but he is still very much involved in the development and design of sailing yachts. The ’Best Day Ever’ was inspired by his own private yacht for example, also an aluminium Bestevaer 53ST, built by KM Yachtbuilders.

The Bestevaer 53ST ‘Best Day Ever’ will certainly stand out in any harbour, with its bare aluminium hull and beautiful carbon mast on deck. She is steered with a tiller.
