The Bestevaer 45 PURE Lene is being build for a German owner. His dream is to sail mainly in cold areas such as Norway, Iceland and Greenland with the ultimate goal of crossing the Northwest Passage. To do this he wanted an aluminium yacht built, and his quest took him to KM Yachtbuilders. The Lene will have a centreboard with double rudders and will be steered with a tiller. The wood used for the interior is brushed oak instead of bamboo which is standard for the PURE yachts.
