This Bestevaer 45 PURE was delivered to its German owners in the summer of 2018. Before they decided to build a new aluminium yacht they were the owners of a Bestewind 50, so they were already familiar with our shipyard. The Bestewind had a fixed keel, which means that they were unable to enter certain ports and areas in their home Baltic area. Hence the choice of a centreboard for the Godewind. They were also keen on being able to rest on mudflats and it was also on their wish list to go to the German Wadden Sea as soon as possible.
